1. Guided Tour and Explanation

Enjoy a guided visit led by artisans or staff members, who will share insights into the history, culture, natural environment, and craftsmanship of Ushikubi Tsumugi.
As you observe the actual production process, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of its unique traditions and techniques.

2. Hands-on Experience

After the tour, try your hand at traditional silk-making and weaving using our workshop facilities.

• Thread Reeling Experience： Reel silk directly from tamamayu (double cocoons) used in actual production.
• Coaster Weaving Experience： Create a small woven coaster on a simplified loom. (You may take your piece home as a keepsake if you wish.)
• Weaving Experience： Use the same handloom employed by our artisans to weave genuine Ushikubi Tsumugi fabric.
